Lessons from the Field

Train staff how to use technology. Technology can enhance the learning process, but only if teachers (and others involved in the project) know how to use it. Provide training and practice time for staff to become familiar with new equipment.

Lessons from the Field features strategies, tips and advice from our Sharing the Dream grantees. At the end of each school year, we ask them “What advice would you give to other schools who want to start a project like yours?” Their insightful answers have generated a wealth of ideas for other educators to try in their own schools.

Have you tried this idea? How did it work? Share your experiences in a comment.
